Restoring, repairing and testing historic computers and associated peripherals requires measurement and test equipment such as , e.g., power supplies, oscilloscopes and signal generators.

This section shall present measurement equipment that I use for repairing purposes and also some devices that are of particular interest from a technology point-of-view, even if not actively used by myself for debugging. Most of that equipment was either purchased for little money or was given to me without any information regarding its functionality. Thus, I first had to comission them and verify their proper function. The web pages about the equipment listed in the navigation pane to the left also contain some sort of blog describing the checking and reparation procedure I did in order to get them back into function and calibrated, if possible.
