Story:

The neighor institute next to the oneI worked for 3 months when I was in France during 2005/2006 cleaned up their computer rooms during the move to the new nano technology center called "Minatec". Amongst other stuff, I could prevent this SUN server from ending up at the scapyard. I had a quick look: It turns out that it doesn't contain any drives. I could also rescue a rack with harddrives having IPI-interfaces. As soon as I have time, I'll try to connect these to the IPI controller card, I got separately for this SUN server. The SUN 4/460 houses a VME-bus and an impressive power supply.

This unit has not been tested, yet.
